This is a preview of the used shirt quilt I,m working on at present, the floral bits are from my stash to help give it a lift . I have pieced it from 5" strips
Shabby chic cottage quilt ? I think so . It is a joy to work on because of the pastel colours. I expect to finish it about the end of the month .![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLVRa7Rwy-iWOCbLsiJACay4znNe9KGGxx9CmiFs_pPbdUEvD-6N4AGPoqOxIrEkdtXiuOQVuca0R0lVKkLg8jGnwa-eyOT0WRs4EXg9k4LFVYLKhd5OF8M6Fz7YmeDfqMalMuc8lCegs/s400/PICT2044.JPG)

What a lovely cottage feel this quilt has. I have loads of shirt material that I have been collecting now all I need is the time. Which I don't have until the holiday season is over.
I love all of hte pinks in this quilt....so pretty!

Thanks for your comment on my blog - it was actually your recent remark about going to Ashby with Bluebell that made me think my friend Chris would enjoy it too - so thanks for the idea!!
What a wonderful quilt!
I also want to say thank you for leaving me a comment on my blog. I appreciate that you took the time. Also thank you for your wonderful tip on using old shirts. I have never thought of that in the past and now seeing your beautiful quilt I am excited by the possibilities. :o)
