I love bags and jars full of buttons! Have a jar full of my grandmothers. I suppose she used to remove them from clothes that had worn out or gone out of style. They used to make such intricate ones, didn't they? I've seen some that are little works of art.
Thank you for becoming a follower. I just now saw that you had inquired about the Friend Connect which is something I haven't set up. You are much more computer savvy and modern than I am, it seems! It was easier for me to just have the Followers widget - easy to manage - and I also didn't want to connect to social sites since I don't belong to any. If I should ever change my mind I will certainly let you know! I've enjoyed chatting with you immensely and know that we will have many more friendly chats ahead of us. It has been a difficult day today as my mother fell and broke her knee and, in fact, just got out of surgery. She is half-way across the country so I have been keeping touch via phone. All went well and now I think I will watch some T.V. and go to bed early.
All the best,
Catherine

Yes, I' got a button jar like that - except they all seem to be little fiddly white buttons that don't quite match each other!!

Thanks for visiting, my door is always open and you can come over anytime and sit with me in my sitting room, feet up with a glass of wine and we will spend the day visiting :) Please share pictures of your wardrobes after you paint them and put the "Newly Tattered" sign up.
I love buttons and use them in different craft projects :)
Hugs,
Toni
