At the sewing group where I go Thursday, I took my new camera,( I dropped my last one, it still works but it broke at the corner where the batteries go, better to be safe so I bought another) anyway, the new one is really slim and lightweight,it fits easily into my bag . There were quite a few ladies around discussing the merits of cameras but as soon as they saw me focus they scooted. perhaps they are all fugitives. I,ll get them next time .Saturday, 30 May 2009

You are quite right. We are rather the same vintage. I don't mind getting old ..not really. The only time it bothers me is if I have trouble doing something I used to be able to do with ease...THEN it bothers me! :)

That is too funny, no one wants their photo taken. Maybe they do not want their better half seeing all the fabric they have. LOL
I'm the same way...I scoot as soon as I see a camera wanting to take a picture. Enjoy your new camera.
They are really nice girls and certainly photogenic .I will not be going to the s, circle on Thursday but I,ll get them the following week
