I live in the midlands , is global warming only round the edges ?. This week I have put the central heating on several times , it,s still August . Today my newspaper reported summer is over , rain through till December!!!I have started knitting but methinks a quilt over my knees sewing might be the thing .

Central heating! I shan't put mine on until Guy Fawkes Day even if my feet drop off because of the principle, but I am lucky, I'm fit and well and can cope with any temperatures above 10 degrees and don't really get that cold. You poor thing, you must be suffering, I hope you get some better weather soon xxx
I can stand the cold , people very often say "aren,t you cold without a cardi, on" but at present it is cold and wet, then the sun will peep out and it,s humid . There are quite a few people with Flu!!!---cottonreel

I have my cardi on, but no CH yet, TG.
A good cup of tea will do nicely.

I live in Illinois and it has been so darn hot here this summer. It's been awful. I am so looking forward to autumn. I'll trade you a little weather. :)
I am in S. W. Ontario Can. and it has been a very hot and humid summer for us too. Today is going to be much of the same. Having said that, come Sept. weather can turn at the drop of a hat. Enjoying it while we can.

Yep it is hot here in Ontario the cooler weather will be here before we know it. I hate the cold and snow. Love your teapot I have one very similar.
Hi, I havent read your log for a while and I just had a lovely pore over it now. That quilt is gobsmackingly gorgeous. I almost feel over when i saw it weak at the knees tho I was!! I also love the bedroom, golly it just what i want. Want to swap homes!!??
