The tipple in Cyprus ? not so much of a tipple,Ouzo, Zivaner,that is about 95% proof , it was illegal up to about5 yrs ago, people made it illegally, it was drunk mostly in the villages, you can now buy it over the counter, They also used it as a body rub for aches and pains. They also drink Greek brandy . the favourite being 5 Kings brand, and their own hoochy sort
